  After booking the Christmas office party lunch at the White House pub more than a month in advance and sending the Christmas menu choices for 32 covers the day prior to the reservation, one would think nothing could go wrong. Think again! Staff mixed up the reservation with another party from our company which meant we could still be seated, but it took 1 hour for the pre-ordered starters to arrive, another 2 = yes TWO - excruciating hours for the pre-ordered main courses to arrive and finally another 30 minutes for the desserts ...all the while staff were unapologetic and at one point even screamed and shouted at us for not always immediately remembering what we ordered (bear in mind we had pre-ordered every single dish in advance via e-mail / black and white). I was screamed and shouted at purely because of the staff’s inefficiency and that was a very embarrassing experience for me in front of my superiors. I was on the verge of tears and this was very traumatic and stressful. This should have been a celebration for all the long hours every team member had put into work over the past 12 months ... instead it became a total disaster. I would never recommend anyone to use their services unless they are planning to have a disastrous event. This will definitely go down as the worst Christmas lunch ever. Never. Ever. Again.
